The Cape Cod Foundation Partnership

In January 2020, The Kelley Foundation entered into an administrative management agreement with The Cape Cod Foundation.

The Cape Cod Foundation handles the back-office administration and day-to-day operations of the Kelley Foundation and coordinates grant and scholarship processes with the Kelley Foundation Board of Directors and members.

This agreement enables the Kelley Foundation to take advantage of the strong foundation management expertise of The Cape Cod Foundation and makes it possible for our Board and members to devote more of their time to the Kelley Foundation’s strategic investments in our community.

The Cape Cod Foundation was established as a community foundation in 1989. Today, it administers more than 300 charitable funds and invests its discretionary resources in initiatives that support nonprofit capacity-building, nonprofit education and leadership development, partnerships with broad regional impact, and projects that bring vital shared resources to the nonprofit sector.

Over the years, the two foundations have collaborated on several initiatives. This partnership is another way for the Kelley Foundation to leverage resources and maximize impact in our community.
